With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Sixta Kuzila of Lenexa, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sixta and Mary Sixta (Weber); her brother Joe "Woody" Sixta; and her brother-in-law Phillip Kuzila. She is survived by: her husband Mark; her children, Amy Slaughter (Steve), Matt Kuzila (Arianna), Bridget Craig (Mark), Peter Kuzila (Brittney) and Justin Kuzila; her grandchildren, Finnegan, Hudson Slaughter, Theo, Zach, Caleb Kuzila, Pemberly, Gwyneth and Turner Craig; her sisters, Susie Taylor, Ruthie Wiseman (Rick) and Shelly Sullivan (Barry); and her sister-in-law Mary Sixta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home (8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (13615 W 92nd St, Lenexa, KS 66215).
