Marlene Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geary McKinnon and Rita McKinnon. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Terryl Scarbrough (Kole), Mara Swanson (Chris) and Greg Overpeck (Emily); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Colin, Sara, Noah, Tatum, Lydia and Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Lenexa Baptist Church and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

“Dear Bob, We were saddened to hear of Marlene's home going and while we wished to attend her service at Wooddale, Norm is still fighting issues with asthma after a knee replacement 3 weeks ago. Marlene was such a sweet creative lady and I remember viewing some of the amazing things in your home only to find she had come up with the idea but you were the one who made it all happen. She had many gifts, creativity, hospitality and a sweet happy spirit. May the Lord bring great memories to mind”
