With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Ruth Botts of Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Barb and Ruth Dunn Barb; and her spouse Jerry Botts. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Viola (Ivano) of East Windsor, NJ and Bryan Botts (Midge) of Shawnee; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Mallory Botts, Shen and Sukanya Viola.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery (6920 Rawlins Rd, Atchison, KS 66002).
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or the Atchison Humane Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
