Junetta Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Junetta Elaine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Junetta Elaine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Rogers and Juanita Rogers (Austin); and her husband Charles Godwin. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry (Leann), Ron (Kathleen) and Jeff (Kim); and her siblings, Jerry Adams and Jannell Adams. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Central Church of the Nazarene (12600 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66215). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Junetta's memory be made to Lenexa Central Church of the Nazarene Missions.
