She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sleeper and Virginia Sleeper (Maupin); and her sister Janet Sleeper Kerr. She is survived by: her husband Elmer Hemphill; her sons, Adam Hemphill and Matt Hemphill; and her granddaughter Sondra Hemphill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Jill's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
