He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frank Hayes, Sr. and Marjorie Ann Hayes (Johnson). He is survived by: his sons, James Hayes of Overland Park, KS, John Hayes (Deb) and Dan Hayes (Trish) of Shawnee, KS.; his cousin Jack Phillips of Hudson, IL.; and also Judy Delaney (Russell) of Lecanto, FL.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lenexa Baptist Church (15320 W 87th St, Lenexa, KS 66219). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
After a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Joe went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 20, 2024. Memorials may include the Parkinson's Foundation, the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches or a charitable organization of your choice.
