With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Whitehead of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John W. Whitehead to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Parks; his daughter Janice Couch; and his brother David Whitehead. He is survived by: his brother Bob Whitehead (Lin); his son-in-law Greg Couch (Kelley); his children, Susan Marselus (Randy) and Scott Whitehead (Paula); and his grandchildren, Carrie Beth Lima (James), Brad Couch (Amy), Amy Highfill (Joshua), Ben Marselus (Rachel), Melissa Bradshaw (Derek) and Grant Whitehead (Savanna). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
