John Raymond Bunker Obituary

The passing of John Raymond Bunker (Lenexa, Kansas) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 13, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlene Bunker and Arthur Bunker; and his brother Christopher A. Bunker. He is survived by: his brothers, William M. Bunker of Merriam, KS and Arthur S. Bunker (Arthur Bunker); his wife Mary Bunker; his sons, James Slaughter, Daniel Slaughter and Joseph Braun of Shawnee, KS.; his grandchildren, Snow, Zak and Maeve of Kansas City; and also, Ashton and Stewart.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Porter Funeral Home (8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215).

In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be sent to the Lawrence Human Society, 1805 E. 19th St., Lawrence, Ks 66046, lawrencehumane.org.
