He is survived by: his wife Chari Sowers; his children, Niccole Thorne of Woodinville, WA and Jeffrey Sowers (Natalie) of Council Grove, KS; his brothers, Mike Sowers, Merlin Sowers (Lynn) and Robert Sowers (Alice); and his grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, James, Quinley and Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
