We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2021, at the age of 94, Gene Nelson of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Smolan, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil Ferdinand Nelson and Blenda Pehrson Nelson; his wife Betty Dunne Nelson (Sis); his children, Sally Davenport (David Davenport) of Coronado, CA, Richard Nelson (Marife Nelson) of Katy, TX, Elizabeth Beck (James Beck) and Robert Nelson (Bob) of Raytown, MO.; his grandchildren, Kate, Charlie, Scott Davenport, Sarah Williford, Jeffrey Nelson, Anna and Ryan Beck; and his great grandchild Adam Williford.
