She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Sockovich and Mary Sockovich (Rozic); her siblings, Michael, Joseph, George, Anna Malnar, Kathryn Deitchman, Diana Vale and Margaret Sockovich; her former husband Clarence Yarmek; her extended family, Carolyn Strayer (Hines) and Robert "Bob" Hines; and her sisters, Diane and Margie.
She is survived by: her niece Madeline Herman; and her grandchildren, John Strayer (Angela), Rebecca Malone (Matt), Margaret Godderz (Adam), Brian Hines (Genelle), Mark Strayer, Kylie Frederick (Owen) and Chelsea Kearns. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and several great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mausoleum Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery (8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215).
