She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Fridell and Mamie "Opal" Yuille (Gruver) of Robinson, KS.; her husband Virgil Bruning; her brother Myron "Dean" Fridell; her son-in-law Gregory Bortka; her children, Daniel Bruning, MD (Cynthia Drake, MD) of Overland Park, KS, Lynn Davis (Mike) of Lenexa, KS and Lee Bortka of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Grant Miner (Jenny), Laine Stobaugh (Jeff), Blake Bruning, Brad Davis (Sarah), Paige Davis, Riley Brockman (Terra) and Max Bortka; and her great grandchildren, Leo, Layla Miner and Stella Stobaugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a Memorial Fund at the Overland Park Christian Church or Ascend Hospice.
