She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Ford and Josephine Ford (Hartman); her husband Howard "Gene" Thomas; her siblings, Alta Lynch and Charles Ford (Howard E. Thomas); and her sons, Patrick Thomas of Lenexa, KS, Danny Thomas (Sue) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Keith Thomas of Kansas City, MO and Pete Thomas (Betsy) of Overland Park. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117.
