He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Bogard and Bernice Bogard Barber; his stepfather Theo Barber; and his siblings, Frank Bogard, Betty Tush and Richard Barber.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Davis Bogard; and his children, Sherri Thomas (Larry), Donald Jr. Bogard (Rhonda) and James Bogard (Padma). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to City Union Mission (https://cityunionmission.org) or Ascend Hospice.
