In the sacred silence of farewell, Delores Maurine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Long and Katherine Long; her son David Snyder; her sister Shirley O'Bannon; her uncles, Billy and Burt Haun; and her aunt Jean Haun.
She is survived by: her husband Duane O'Dell; and her children, Peggy Cooper (Stephen), Saylor Snyder, Steve Snyder and Sherry Kelly (Marvin). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Antioch Church (5201 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66202). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
