We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2021, at the age of 61, David A. Mehrtens of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Red Bud, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred H. and Jessaline; his brother Fred Mehrtens Jr.; and his brother-in-law Scott Wuertz. He is survived by: his wife Robyn Mehrtens of Lenexa, KS; his daughters, Ashley O'Daniel (Sean), Brooke Hink (Cody) and Kirsten Mehrtens; his grandchildren, Nora Hink, Sofia O'Daniel and Levi Hink; his siblings, Rose Anne Bense (Ray), Karen Mehrtens, Nancy Prather (John Sr.) and Roger Mehrtens (Laura); his parents-in-law, Don and Judy Wuertz; and his brother-in-law Brian Wuertz (Cheri). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
