It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Baker of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Melody Bean of Overland Park, KS; her stepdaughter Judy Schubbe (Ron) of Dekalb, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah Thompson (Andy) of Springfield, MO, Andrea Jewett (Brandon) of Lenexa, KS, Kayla Bean of Overland Park, KS, Brooke Bright of Genoa, IL, Carrie Petersen (Brandon) of Geneva, IL, Rodney Bean of Wichita, KS and Michael Bean (Rachel) of Belton, MO; and her great grandchildren, Elise Powell, Grace, Luna Mae Jewett of Lenexa, KS, Zachary Thompson of Springfield, MO, Riley Powell of Lenexa, KS, Lucas, Jonathan Bright of Genoa, IL, Ryker, Colton and Beckham Petersen of Geneva, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
