She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Jarvis and Lois Jarvis (Koontz). She is survived by: her husband Joe Frank Welch of Lenexa, KS; her children, Sara Welch of Fairway, KS and John Welch (Margaret Lynn) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Andrew of Tucson, AZ and Cate of Charlottesville, VA; and her sister Martha Jarvis of Prairie Village, KS..

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
