She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmeidler and Rose Schmeidler (Wolf); and her siblings, Earnest, James, William Jr. and Bonaventure Schmeidler (Elsie Marie).
She is survived by: her husband Mel of Joseph's Catholic Church; her children, Dale Romme (Catherine), Sandy Rost (John) and Tammy Ford (Scott); her sister Jeanette Flax (Schmeidler); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Romme Hyland (Tanner), Matthew Romme, Caroline Romme, Joseph Rost, William Rost, Thomas Ford and Charles Ford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family kindly suggests memorial contributions to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas, where all seven grandchildren attended.
