She was predeceased by: her mother Clare Thorne, Sr. (Growney); her husband Larry DeVries; and her siblings, Anne Marie Thorne and Eugene Thorne, Jr. (Bridget). She is survived by: her son Paul (Baillie Thorne); her father Eugene F. Thorne, Sr.; and her siblings, Terri Kilgore (Charley), Brian Thorne (Deanna), Michael Thorne and Karen Thorne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (11300 W 103rd St, Overland Park, KS 66214, USA). Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
