He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bruce and Jennie Frances Mann Hoffer; and his siblings, Robert Hoffer and Sandra Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Spielman; and his sons, Roland Hoffer (Sara) of Kansas City, KS, Rodney Hoffer (Julie), Lawrence and Royall Hoffer (Raquan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
