He is survived by: his wife Winona Mae Barrett; his children, Laurie Striet, Iris Hale, Leslie Downing, Jr. (Heather), Lonnie Downing (Carolyn), Ella Curtiss (Duane) and Dailen Downing (Sherry); his grandchildren, Gaila Gilliland (Larry), John Hale, Amy Drake (Pat), Dustin Downing (Becky), Derrick Downing (Natalie), Kerry Jacques (Jon), Kirk Curtiss (Annie), Matthew Downing (Kayte), Heath Downing and Jamie Edie; and his sister Edith LeValley.
