He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koerner and Florence Koerner (Schultz); his son-in-law Michael A. Estes; his brother Bobby; and his sister-in-law Kay Koerner.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Moray; his mother-in-law Patricia C. McNeive; and his children, Ann-Marie Colleen Koerner, John Harold Koerner and Kristy Leigh Koerner.
