He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dean and Beverly Louise Cree Tyson; his sister Kathy Weakley; and his grandparents, William, Stella Tyson, Iva and Hattie Cree.
He is survived by: his uncle Kenny Cree; his wife Cheri C. Bazil; his children, Pamela J. Ludolph (Kenton) of LeRoy, Kansas and Michael D. Tyson (Chelsea) of Emporia; and his grandchildren, Ava, Corbin, Rachel Tyson, Olivia, Emily Ludolph and Gemma Phillips.
