He was predeceased by: his parents, John H Lewis and Trilby I Lewis; his wife Donna F. Pinkston; his son J. L. Lewis; and his brother Rodney Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Paladino of Royal Oak, Michigan; his daughter-in-law Dawn Lewis of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Paige Paladino of Royal Oak, Cole Lewis (Grace) of Austin and Sherry Lewis-Ramirez (Ben) of Denver, Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Lily Lewis-Ramirez, Banyan Lewis-Ramirez, Eli Zare, Everett Zare, Paxton Lewis and Hadlee Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial contributions to be made to The Lewis Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at The Emporia State University Foundation.
