He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis DeForest and Bertha Dyste DeForest; his son Wayne DeForest; and his brothers, Jim, Harry, Norman, Ed, Harold and Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, Shay Foster (Chad) of Eskridge, Karen DeForest of Lake Placid, Amy Boon (John) of Garland, Texas, Dave DeForest (Angie) of Topeka and Glen F. DeForest II of Norton, Kansas; and his sister Judy Shoemaker (Jack) of Baxter Springs.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home at P.O. Box #43, Lebo, Kansas 66856.
