It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Parsons Whitaker (Leawood, Kansas), who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William Parsons departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William Parsons. Though William Parsons may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Otis Whitaker and Kathryn Nevin Culbertson Whitaker. He is survived by: his daughters, Lorie Beth Whitaker and Minda Corrine Whitaker Mason (Dan Mason); and his grandchildren, Blake Daniel Mason, William Cody Mason, Catherine Rosemary Franano, Carolyn Elizabeth Franano and Nicholas James Franano.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wesley Covenant Chapel (13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224).
