He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kort and Elizabeth Kort. He is survived by: his wife Regina Kort; his siblings, Michael, Robert and Alisa Kort; his mother-in-law Sonia Warshawski; his siblings-in-law, Morrie Warshawski and Debbie Warshawski; his nieces and nephews, Benjamin Kort, Elliott Kort, Leah Warshawski and Maura Warshawski; and also, Alex and Bailey.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (6940 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131). A shiva was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 12324 El Monte St, Leawood, KS 66209.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education, American Public Square, Hadassah, UMKC Conservatory, or the American Cancer Association.
