In loving memory of Sevene Bartley (Leawood, Kansas), who departed this world on December 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Sevene leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen McDonald Akard and O. C. Tex Akard. She is survived by: her husband Rick; her daughter Devon Nixon; her son-in-law James Nixon of Cameron, Missouri; her brother Gene Akard of Dallas, Texas.; her brothers-in-law, Larry Bartley (Katie) of Tulsa and Mike Bartley (Debbie) of Muskogee, Oklahoma.; and her pets, Layla, Muffin, Peaches, Buddy and Bosco.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the The Venue (4800 W 135th St, Leawood, KS 66224).
