It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Burk Hitt (Leawood, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dewey Hitt and Doris Hitt; his wife Marion Knapp Miller; and his children, Charles R. Hitt and Barbara Nichols (Steve) of Olathe, KS. He was also cherished by two granddaughters, two great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter and many family and friends.
Instead of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions go to the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection or the Shriners Children's Hospital St. Louis, Missouri.
