With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Zahner Sr. (Leawood, Kansas), who passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Zahner and Allee Zahner (Dorsey); his siblings, Leo, Jr. and Margaret Ann Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Harry McDonald, Sr. (Richard).
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Leigh), Ann Marie Eckart (Gil) and Julie Wright (Aaron); his wife Rita Coolick; his sisters, Elizabeth McDonald and Eileen Zahner; his sister-in-law Katy Zahner; his son Rick (Jill); his grandchildren, Sara, Richard III (Megan), Joseph, David Zahner, Emileigh Zahner, Bonnie, Ronnie Eckart, Olivia and Andrew Wright; and his great grandchildren, Greyson, William and Thomas Zahner.
