Randall Charles Umscheid Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randall Charles Umscheid of Leawood, Kansas, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Umscheid and Grayce Umscheid (Catlin); his significant other Kathy; his in-laws, Buck and Helen Gengler; his daughters, Stacey of Overland Park and Courtney of Overland Park; his pet Ruby Sue; and his siblings, Rick (Colleen) and Vicky. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and many friends.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cure of Ars Catholic Church (9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215).
