It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Hobbs (Leawood, Kansas), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank Kurowski and Hedwig Antoinette Kurowski (Rutkowski); her brother Eugene J Kurowski; her brother-in-law Wayne Hobbs; and her son Patrick Dougher.
She is survived by: her husband William Hobbs; her children, Deborah A Dougher, James P Hobbs (Heidi DeWeese) and Julie M Carmichael (James Carmichael); her grandchildren, James (Madalyn Intihar), Molly Dougher, Aislynn Hobbs, Skye and Alastair DeWeese; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Kurowski, Sr., Francita Hobbs, Nancy Hobbs and Patricia Benson (Roy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.
