She was predeceased by: her father Mel Higgins. She is survived by: her mother Diane Higgins; her husband Alex Hammel; her children, Ethan and Elyse; and her sisters, Suzanne Stottlemyre (Todd) and Wendy Siebold (Ben). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
