He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carmon Curtright and Leah Luella Curtright (Kindle); his wife Bobbie Jean Lewallen; his children, Stephanie (late Bill) and Stewart (Lisa); his grandsons, Sean (Sarah) and Blake; and his stepgrandson Chase (Kiah).

“I was very sorry to hear about Leland's passing. He was such a good person! He always seemed happy and had good words of wisdom to share. I know he worked hard all of his life serving the different communities that he and Bobbie lived in along with Stewart and Stephanie. Thankfully Pastor Adam has shared with us that death is not the last thing and that we will all get to see one another again one day. My condolences to Bobbie, Stewart, Stephanie and the rest of Leland's extended family.”
