In loving memory of John Phillip Rader of Leawood, Kansas, who departed this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 85. John Phillip leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Schwenk Rader and Le Roy Arthur Rader; his son Phillip Craig Rader; his siblings, Millicent Rader Harris, Carolyn Rader Franke and Le Roy Richard Rader; his brother-in-law Robert Harris; his niece Heather Harris Winkler; and his nephew-in-law Roy Burks.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Rader; his siblings-in-law, Barbara York Rader and Rick Franke; his nieces, Tracy Criddle (Joel), Terri Fisher (Rex) and Kimberly Burks; and his nephew-in-law Steven Winkler. He is also survived by four great-nieces; and one great-great-niece.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (402 W Wall St, Harrisonville, MO 64701).
In lieu of flowers, John would prefer donations be made either to Saint Peter's Episcopal Church or to a favorite organization that rescues and cares for animals, such as Kansas City Pet Project or Wayside Waifs.
