She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Goodwin and Mary Ann Goodwin; and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her husband William A. (Bill); her children, Suzanne Duncan (Glenn) of Kansas City, Gus Geiger of Overland Park, David Geiger (Monica) of Kansas City, Tom Geiger (Brenda) of Kansas City and Sally Brady (Vince) of Seattle; her grandchildren, Matthew Kenton (Laura), Kristin Zender (Matt), Jack Brady, Drew Brady and Nick Geiger; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Will, Weston Kenton, Frances and Margot Zender.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bette's memory may be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
