He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dehaemers and Leona Dehaemers (Tartar); his stepfather Jules Van Kiersbilck; and his brother Robert Dehaemers. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, David, Jr. (Barbara), Timothy (Michelle), Renee' (Christopher), Matthew (Shayla) and Lori; his grandchildren, Jason, Zachary (Amanda), Elizabeth, Alexandra, Catherine, Jada, Abigail, Marshall, Sienna and Cole; and his cousins, Sister Janelle Maes and Joanne Plank. He is also survived by 3 great granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Cure' of Ars Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
