With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana Beth Backstrom (Leawood, Kansas), who passed away on May 25, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Barbara Backstrom of Shawnee, KS and Lathrop G. Backstrom Jr. of Prairie Village; her friends, Stacey and Patty; her pets, Patrick and Fiona; her sister Mindy Stewart (Deric) of Overland Park, KS.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rowan, Brody, Marley, Haley Mason (Brandon) and Harrison Stewart; her extended family, Jerry Goodbar, Sydney Backstrom, Judy Mullen and Becky Gibson (Harry); her sisters, Teresa, Fabiola Servants of Mary, Beverly, Jean, Donna, Samantha, Araceli, Cynthia and Mallory; and also, Coleman Stewart (Taylor) and Mathis.
