She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Marvin and Effie Mae Brown (Vance); her husband James Mathes; and her brother Rex. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen James (Karen) and David Charles (Karen); her grandchildren, Connor, Emory, Katie, Lacy and Nick; and her pet Max.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
