With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terri J Moritz of Leavenworth, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Fink and Patricia Fink (Rush); her spouse Chris Moritz; her siblings, David Fink and Janet Fink; her sister-in-law Becky Fink; and her close friend Paul Swope.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Moritz (Tina), Justin Moritz (KaylaDawn) of Lansing, Jason Moritz (Joshua Moritz) and Jill Doelz (Kyle) of Leavenworth; her siblings, Leo Fink (Toni), Kenneth Fink of Leavenworth, Christopher Fink (Sandra) of Lansing, Kan., Debra Fink of Leavenworth and Diana Cowing (Fred) of Lansing, Kan.; her sister-in-law Amy Fink; her grandchildren, Corie Baker, Gabe Baker (Gabby), Chris Moritz (Rose), Hunter Moritz, Marcaleno Trujillo, Nathan Doelz, Evangelina Moritz, Hailey Doelz, Gwendolyn Moritz, Holley Doelz and Kenden Moritz; and her daughter-in-law Shelly Moritz.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A Mass was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis de Sales Church (900 Ida St, Lansing, KS 66043). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery (16731 Springdale Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
Memorials are suggested to the family for funeral expenses or the Brain Injury Association for traumatic brain injury research.
