She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael B. Simanowitz and Josephine Simanowitz (Burick). She is survived by: her significant other Greg Carpenter; her son Ralph J. Rodgers IV (Erin); her siblings, Michael Simanowitz (Pam), Ronald Simanowitz (Kathy), Robert Simanowitz (Susie), Sylvia Wolk and Sheila Bailey; her brother-in-law Greg Carpenter; and also, Josi Lyn and Abby Jo.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made in Susan's name to the Boy Scouts of America and/or L.A.W.S (Leavenworth animal welfare society) Read Less.
