We bid farewell to Stella E. Smith of Leavenworth, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Stella E. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Rose and Ruth Rose; her husband Allen Smith; and her siblings, Norman Rose, Neva Massmann, Evelyn Hicklin and Thamar Barnett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Claudia Jones (Dennis) and Beverly Womack (George); her grandsons, Jason Thompson (Emily), Brett Harris (Carrie) and Justin Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Haylee Thompson, Cody Thompson and Kiersten Harris. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Belden Larkin Funeral Home (707 S 6th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
