She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl L. Ettinger and Mary E. Ettinger (Lockhart); her grandparents, George and Bertha Lockhart; and her brother William M. Garnett.

She is survived by: her husband William Garnett; her daughters, Mary K. Cummins (Jeff) and Bonnie L. Forbach (David); and her grandchildren, Luke W. Forbach and Rachel K. Forbach (Tyler Lilly).

Sharon donated faithfully to the St. Labre Indian school and loved Indian flute music.
