He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Simien and Ruth Simien (Wilson). He is survived by: his daughters, Alexandra Simien of Sacramento and Michelle Simien of Oakland, Calif.; his siblings, Wayne Simien Sr. of Lawrence, Kan., Gail Florence of Wichita and Denise Goodwin of Leavenworth, Kan.; his niece Dione Miller; his nephews, Byron Page and Wayne Simien Jr.; and his daughter Erika Lewis.
