With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Lingenfelser of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maximus Leo and Mary C. Lingenfelser (Manthe); and his brother Max Lingenfelser. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Lingenfelser of Leavenworth; his grandsons, Oliver Bowman of Wyandotte, Okla and Lennox Lingenfelser of Leavenworth; his siblings, Mike (Diane) of Leavenworth, Dan (Pat) of Manhattan, Kan, Bill (Joan) of Willard, Jane Alford of Topeka, Kan and Mary Ann Robker (Doug) of Gladstone; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins.

Memorials are suggested to the Kickapoo Township Fire Department Scholarship Fund.

“My deepest sympathy to all the Lingenfelser cousins. Mom (Aunt Polly) had been keeping us up to date on Mark’s surgery, recovery, therapy. We are truly saddened by the news here in TX., especially for Mike.! Being a twin myself I can only imagine the loss you must feel now! Such fond memories of shucking peas on your front porch with those huge wooden crates full! Walking the fields, seeing the cows, and “the boys” taking an egg up on the metal roof, cracking it, & watching it fry! Penny Peyton”
