She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Barnes and Lonnie Simmons; her siblings, Deborah J Barber and Richard Lee Colins; and her sons, Michael Simmons and Lonnie Cohen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherie Rodriguez, Amina Bond and Elisha Bond; her grandchildren, Karina Bourcey, Iliana Goodman, Collin Goodman, Isabella See, Alena Thomas, Julius Hawkins, Gabriella Claypool, Kaiya Elliott, Hinami Elliott and Emma Elliott; and her sister Gloria Aponte. She is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
