He is survived by: his parents, Marion C. Lemons and Claudia L. Hitz (Bogner); his wife Renee L. Chaput; his stepparents, Allen and Diane Burke; his son John "Bubba" Lemons (Madison) of Leavenworth; his stepchildren, Calvin Fouquet (Carolyn), Christian Fouquet (Rebecca), Conner Fouquet, Kayleigh Fouquet, Kylee Fouquet and Katelynn Fouquet; and his siblings, Jeffrey Lemons of Leavenworth, Jessica Waymire of Leavenworth, Jaime Lemons of Leavenworth and Kimberly Chauche of Lincoln, Neb. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to John and Renee's non-profit organization for Foster Children, The Thomas Building Foster Closet.
