It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne J. Ochs of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brown and Betty Brown (Bromell); her husband Vernon; her brother Charles Brown; her son-in-law Jack Copeland; and her grandson Christopher Soden.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Ochs (Judy) of Park City, KS, Nancy Copeland of Shawnee, Mary Ellen Soden (Jack) of Wichita and Daniel Ochs (Patty) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Jill Walrod (John), Justin Ochs (Hayley Cheatham), Stephanie Hobson (Jay), Emily Hayes (John) and Kristen Nichols (Johnathan); and her great grandchildren, Barrett Walrod of Wichita, Deacon Ochs of Wichita and Milo Nichols of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Southern Heights United Methodist Church or Children's Miracle Network.
