He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Sloan and Betty Sloan (Thornburgh); his parents-in-law, Carl and Josephine Hund; and his sisters, Terri Schuler (Gary), Janice Carpenter and Joyce Watkins (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Judy Sloan (Hund); his children, Jim Sloan (Amy), Kristy Tsen (Karl) and Kelly Milner; his grandchildren, Alaine, Josephine, Addison Sloan, Allison Hare, Grace, Brennan, Owen Tsen and Andrew Milner; his great grandchild Parker Jones; his brother Bill Sloan (Kacy); and his brother-in-law Lloyd Carpenter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Easton United Methodist Church.
